Beliefs

What We Believe

According to our conviction and interpretation of matters

found in the King James Bible

CONCERNING GOD

We Believe in one All powerful, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, sovereign, loving, God existing in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.

Trinity(2 Cor 13:14, Jhn 10:30, 1 Jhn 5:7)

CONCERNING SALVATION

We believe that Salvation is a work that is impossible for a man to attain through any amount of works or prayers but is a gift given by God, made possible through the life, death, resurrection and blood of Jesus, and is available to all who will believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation.

Eph 2:8 “For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” (Rom 10:13, Rom 10:9, Act 16:13)

CONCERNING THE BIBLE

We believe that the bible is the final authority on all matters. The Bible was written by holy men that were under the direct influence of the Holy Spirit and has been preserved from the original texts without losing any of its inspiration or authority. The KJV is the Bible we teach and preach from in the English Language and where other Languages are concerned we endeavor to use the translation that is closest to the KJV.

(2 Pet 1:21, Psa 119:89, Psa 12: 6-7)

CONCERNING ORDINANCES

We believe that water baptism and communion are the two ordinances of the church. We do not believe these are essential to salvation but should be practiced by every believer in good fellowship with Christ and the church.

(1 Cor 11:23-29, Mrk 16:16)

Concerning Spiritual Gifts

We believe that the Apostolic signs and wonders ceased with the age of the Apostles. We believe that the Holy Spirit still enables men and women to serve the body of Christ, and that the apostolic gifts ceased with the completion of the Scriptures but the works and working of the Holy Spirit continue.

(Ephsians  2:20, 1 Corithians 13:8-11, Jude 1:3)

Concerning The Return of Christ

We believe in an iminent, Pre-Tribultional rapture of The Church. We also believe in a literal Millennial [1000 year] reign of Christ on this earth after the judgment of the earth and its nation as described in Revelation Chapter's 4-19.

(1 Thessalonians 4:16-18,  Revelation 20:6, Revelation 19 & 20)

"Sirs What must i do to be saved"

This is one of those questions that will render extremely varied replies, and yet it is such an important question that one most certainly cannot afford to be wrong.

Some may say "Be a good person and God will surely allow you admission to heaven", Some may say, "Be sincere in your faith and God will see your sincerity and that will be enough." Some may say to even consider the existence of God is complete foolishness.

Do you know that the Bible answers this question very clearly in Acts 16:31?

Act 16:29-34 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,
And brought them out, and said,(the question) Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
:31  And they said,
(the answer) Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. :32  And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. :33  And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. :34  And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.

Have you found your self asking "what must I do to be saved?" The answer is the same today as that day. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved"
